I really started diving into cooking more vegetarian and pescatarian when I was working in Australia. If you have ever been to Melbourne, Australia, you'll come to find that a lot of the people don't eat meat and eat occasionally at a place called Lentils.
What is so cool about Lentils is that the cost to buy food is all in donations. If you have a lot more money one day, you can put in bigger bills into the donation jar to accommodate someone who is less fortunate. People can come in and eat for free if they really need it, and most people donate around $5 to be pay for their servings. All the people that work there are volunteers too so it truly is a giving place.
It was around this time that I was seeing this girl who only ate vegetarian. I was also staying at a hostel called Collingwood Backpackers and almost all of the other backpackers staying there didn't eat meat! So if you wanted to cook with other people, the meal had to be either vegetarian or pescatarian depending on the person.
I also became much stronger in my rock climbing and was able to do feats that I would have never even dreamed of completing. I realized that the saying "Strong as an ox" had to come from somewhere. But it's funny, because I've never seen an ox eat meat before.
All of these are meals that I have cooked at home for relatively cheap affordable prices. Almost all of these meals are vegetarian and pescatarian (except for one of them). Click on the photo below to be directed to the candid shots of the meals!

Looks delicious. I love cooking vegetarian and pescatarian too. :)
